At TocaPadel24 we know that the only thing you should worry about on the court is your game, not who has your data. That's why we've built our platform on the principle of Privacy by Design.
Below we explain how we protect your information and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
1. Transparency and Full Control
You are in control. In your Profile section, you can view and update at any time the information you share with the community: name and photo, level and ranking, and gender (used exclusively for organising match categories).
2. Why Do We Process Your Data? (Legal Basis)
We only process the data necessary for the app to function. The primary legal basis is the execution of the service (organising matches) and your explicit consent when registering and configuring your visibility.
3. Your Rights Are Our Priority
We strictly comply with the rights granted to you by law: access and rectification from your profile; right to erasure (full deletion of account and data); portability (structured file with your data); and objection to the use of your data beyond match management.
4. Data Retention
We don't keep what we don't need. We will keep your data active while you are a member of the community. If your account remains inactive for more than 24 months, we will anonymise or delete your information, unless the law requires us to retain it.
5. Information Security
We implement state-of-the-art technical measures to protect your data. Your personal data is encrypted and stored on secure servers within the European Economic Area.
